Welcome to
Chicago Art Renaissance Foundation
Harlem Renaissance was a period where African American could express themselves in many artistic ways. Which gave us the idea of starting this program. We understand that not all families have the resources to offer extra curriculum activities for the youth to have a mental break. Harlem Renaissance created writers, artists, and musicians much like we see today. Our program strives to give the youth a similar creative space in order to explore what those resource could unlock inside of them. Focusing on the mental aspect and self-awareness to understand emotional control. Teach healthy ways to relieve stress can save a generation. We target adolescents from third grade to high school.
